How long will delivery take?

We always aim to dispatch standard delivery orders within 3 – 5 working days, but please allow up to 7-10 working days for dispatch during peak season/around public holidays when couriers do not operate and we are unable ship. Our couriers will usually deliver in a further 2 – 3 working days after dispatch.


You may like to add any out of stock items to your wish list within your account. So unlike other sites who’ll take your order and money months in advance with no visibility on delivery, if you spot something you like the look of, you can order with confidence that it will arrive very soon. 

Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these Exclusions and Conditions in addition to our other policies and terms of trade throughout the site. We use external couriers to deliver, Gardening Express cannot be held liable for any issues arising related to any delay with order delivery.

Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver to all areas of Mainland UK (not including Northern Ireland), but including Isle of Wight.

We cannot deliver to the Highlands of Scotland, Channel Islands and off shore locations such as the Isle of Man, Shetland, Hebrides, BFPO addresses, or PO Box addresses and other offshore locations due to excessive costs of carriage and customs regulations relating to the transit of live plants.

How much does delivery cost?

Standard delivery (postage) is just 6.99 for all deliveries throughout Mainland UK (not including Northern Ireland), but including Isle of Wight regardless of order size, unless you qualify for free delivery.

Delivery is FREE ON ALL ORDERS OVER £250 in value for all deliveries throughout the UK & Ireland.

Do you offer next-day delivery or nominated-day delivery?


At this time we do not offer Next Working Day delivery, because we use external couriers rather than our own service we would never 100% be able to guarantee your delivery would arrive the next day due to factors beyond our control, even if we booked it for delivery on such a service. We would therefore rather be upfront and honest and not ship an order with your expectation for a next day delivery, if the delivery did not occur we would all be inconvenienced, and it’s a risk we would rather not take. We do hope to offer this service to certain areas using our own transport in the future however, so do watch this space!
